Janus Electric Holdings Limited, an Australian innovator in heavy vehicle electrification, has successfully secured A$4.5 million through a private placement.
This capital injection is set to bolster the company's growth strategy, focusing on advancing its proprietary battery swap technology and integrated fleet management solutions.

The private placement involved the issuance of 26,450,000 new fully paid ordinary shares at A$0.17 per share, attracting strong support from a diverse group of institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Janus Electric specializes in providing a comprehensive electrification model for the freight and logistics sector. Their offerings include patented battery swap platforms, truck conversion kits, charging infrastructure, and fleet management software, all designed to facilitate a seamless transition to zero-emission heavy vehicles.

The funds raised will be allocated towards scaling operations, enhancing technological capabilities, and expanding market reach. This strategic move aligns with the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions and positions Janus Electric as a key player in Australia's shift towards greener logistics.

Industry analysts view this development as a positive indicator of investor confidence in the viability and potential of electric heavy vehicles. As the sector continues to evolve, Janus Electric's initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability within the transportation industry.
